Ooo-er! Not great. How is it stored at the supplier? standing up or laid flat? Can't see how that would pass Hardie QC and be let out the factory looking like that. Unless they are seconds?

I thought they were factory seconds too. But seems they are known to be like this, from looking around the internet.
 
Not in my experience but check with jackoboard as i dont think they will be happy with 6mm for that application . Probably looking at 12mm if its for stud wall or dot and dabbing . If using it to increase hanging weights on a smooth solid wall 6mm would be ok . Fix like you would a tile then back that up with mechanical fixings .
