Now I've no hope but now i have something to aspire to. I'd like to say chris.tiling is very well know in Bournemouth and Poole and recommended by pretty much all the
tile shops and round here there are loads, and a few builders merchants. I think the whole idea of this tag is a great one and as some one mentioned it will separate pro tilers and the builders/plumbers/chippy's/electricians/butchers/candle stick makers and chicken breeders but I personally dont think you need to have been tiling for 100 years to be at the top of your game. just established as a professional full time working tiler
you need to be carefull making these statements, when someone masters their trade and then adds further trades they strive to bring the following trades to the same
standard as their original trade
they reckon its about four years to learn a trade and then about ten years to master it
learning additional trades extends these times as you are learning a broader range of skills but at the same time a lot of skills transfer between the trades
its a life time of learning and most of us learn daily
those of us that have learnt want to pass our knowledge and skills on as those who taught us have done
despite being a window cleaner you have been encouraged by all on this forum to
tile and to continue to
tile
to the best of my knowledge no one has ever suggested that a window cleaner shouldnt be tiling, in fact i believe it to be the opposite
im sorry to have a go mate
keep your head down and concentrate on honing your tiling skills
i got into tiling as a kitchen fitter who couldnt find a tiler that could
tile to my standards.............so i learnt to
tile
