yes de-carbonizing the engine ,cininder head off and skimming, pulling the engine to bits then re-building, big job!!

I am bit interested for my sake, too... my car sometimes looses power and then picks up again, randomly, is hesitant in low gear, kind of holding back and then doing a mini-lurch forward, and started revving up after changing gear, AFTER taking the foot off the accelerator... had it in the garage (still under warranty) three times, they found an oil leak and air leak and fixed that, cleaned the spark plugs, don't really know what's causing it, I have a feeling they think I'm too fussy, but it ain't right, could a build-up of coke cause this sort of thing? Did your wife have any troubles with her car beforehand?

I wouldnt worry about it, this type of erratic vehilce movement is quite common among lady drivers ...:lol::lol:

I've got two mates who've had or have L200's, one had an L200 animal that got stolen by travellers in a burglary, the other has an L200 warrior which is a good work horse but expensive on fuel even for a diesel, and very expensive on tyres as he found out when one got slashed. The roller shutter rear cover takes up a good bit of the rear as well, he couldnt fit a 3 x 5 hardibacker baord in it becuase of the length lost due to the roller cover housing. The hardi rep had either a ford ranger or a navara that had the tilting cover, which takes up none of the rear area, but only tilts to about 45 degrees so for large taller items you have to remove it, wheras with the l200 rolling cover obviously you dont. Swings and roundabouts.
