My very first Herring Bone job from last week. Not good, but not bad either. Still trying to work out how I ended up with a mistake in it,anyone?

I guess you mean this ? on the whole mate it's a real nice job I am sure some of the tilers on here will have their own ideas of how it happened, but I think your being a bit hard on yourself looks stunning with the lighting above . Kop

You didn’t centre it on the back wall properly.
Looks a lovely job regardless.

I like it, those files from Topps ? I actually did the same sorta job myself with those tiles. I wouldn't worry about that mistake it's hardly noticeable

Not sure where they came from, they were just on-site when I turned up to tile it for the stove installer.
The tiles looked like they would be a nightmare to grout.......really course and pitted. But 3 maybe 4 wipe overs and it was good to go.
