Hi
Never used a forum before - so hope I get this right!
I have a question regarding preparation, not tiling. I'm making ground floor bathroom into a wetroom. The walls are brick with no cavity. Size 2m.20 x 2m.50 x 2m.60 floor to ceiling. It was originally battened out with 25mm timber, with 25mm insulation and plywood sheets fixed to the battens. My intention is to fix 50mm battens to the original battens and put another 50mm insulation in. The room will be fully tiled, and kitted out for a disabled person. That's the background - now the question. What would be the best material to line the room, and tile onto - 12.5mm moisture resistant plasterboard - or 20mm plywood?
