My brother in law is a pro plasterer and I have learnt from him. I can get a good finish but still takes me longer than a true pro. I only offer to patch plaster and prep walls for tiling as it's not worth the money v time until I improve.
Hopefully he's going self-employed this year so we can combine forces and take on the world!
