What make wedges do you guys buy as I've tried genesis and the rubi wedges and found them completely different. The rubi seem to have a lot more grip compared to the cheaper versions.

I find McCain wedges quite nice not the spicy ones tho Sean

Qep tile wedges 10285 brilliant for uneven tiles! Little pricey in this country though

I have a thing about wedges, I hate them being swept up, I go around picking them up ,spaces I don't give a monkeys about, but wedges,completely different matter.
As for lash clips, I think they are ace on large format, I've just laid 60m2 of 1200 x600 porcalthin tiles with raimondi clips, absolute doddle and quicker than spaces [emoji106]

I've never used wedges are they any good ?? Might try a pack of rubi 5 mm as I feel left out!! but I won't be buying them lash clips not a chance in hell

Never say never! I've used them a couple of times on some bowed wood plank tiles. It would have been impossible to get a decent finish without them. I think when they first came out there was a stigma attached to them that they were only for amateurs but IMO they are a necessary part of a professionals tool kit to give the best possible finish when your tiles aren't the best!! Going back to the original topic though, rubi wedges are essential for walls and floors. The first time you use them you wonder how you ever coped without!!

I use lash clips on floor tiles and the yellow wedges are reusable which also double up for all sorts.

I did a 90m2 floor using Kerrakol pourable flowtex adhesive with the Raimondi latch & wedge system on 1200x1200 porcelain tiles. They were a god send for that size format tile.

I will confess I bought a pack of wedges and yes absolutely essential part of my kit now I will say it won't make your work any better but they do make things easier and quicker no more cardboard for me but lash clips seems a bit expensive to Fair
