Are you sure he wasn't English, but living and working in Sweden. I recall him talking about his days in London at some point.

His command of the English language was superb, and his put downs were sometimes verging on hilarious, by the same token he did know some stuff as well. Not just about tiling but generally all round. Or was he just an expert at Googling to find all his answers!!!

Actually, I think you're right mate I remember him posting picture of a car or something and saying he had been there for years but was english actually.

It was either a right hand drive with swedish plates or left hand rive with english plates, one was the other way around if i remember rightly, the picture I saw of it (struggling to find it now) was in front of a derelict building. That's all I remember.

The derelict building Dan, could you see smouldering embers and smoke rising?

Was like an unbuilt huge multi story carpark if I remember rightly? The car was on the road right by it, the 'car park' was unfinished and right behind it the picture.

I got an email from him of similar nature.

Me too! Can't remember what it said word for word but he basically "offered me out". But, on the flip side like others had said, some of his posts were very detailled and informative.

If these are for your wetroom walls make sure these are fixed to a quality cement board, either WEDI or MARMOX and correctly tanked. Obviously use a bag cement based adhesive none of this tub rubbish, and the correct ipoxy grout....
do you mean epoxy grout and why do i need to use that ????
