hi there sounds to me has though he thought it was too much hassel so give you an excuse not to do it rather than say he was not competant enough to do it am sure if you get intouch with another local tiler may be one who comes recomended then am sure they will put them up for you and do a great job

Give this man a round of applause for his intelligent, excellent and entertaining post :)

I'm sure you meant well but it just goes to show you the importance of reading a thread :) or even a post or 2 before your own really...

Some of us were confused a bit to be fair mate as the shop and manufacturer did first state they were fine, the shop agreed with the tiler eventually, but the manufacturer is still adamant about it. So it's fair to see where you got the wrong end of the stick, especially being intoxicated. :)

Fair play for responding again though now you've read it all.

yes m8 paid in full and bacon and egg sarnis every day i was there. Porcelenosa have agreed to pick up the bill for the extra 2 days labour :hurray:

You'll need a job on the top floor of flats with a broken lift to shift the weight now

That's good that they have done that. Have they withdrawn that range or are they now advising that the mosaics are not suitable for wet areas?

Hi me and Dean worked together at the massey ferguson tractor offices at cov,and the stairs were hell when the lift was out of order,do you remember dean
I will never forget that m8 running up and down 14 floors with 2 boxes of tiles on my shoulder nearly bloody killed me.:ban: And tiling in the dark looked fantastic until the lights went on:yikes:

You wouldn't be the first one to do it nor the last ;) I've done it too lol. Just gotta expect a bunch of tradesmen to have a bit of a rip and banter :)
