yes m8 paid in full and bacon and egg sarnis every day i was there. Porcelenosa have agreed to pick up the bill for the extra 2 days labour :hurray:

You'll need a job on the top floor of flats with a broken lift to shift the weight now :lol:

That's good that they have done that. Have they withdrawn that range or are they now advising that the mosaics are not suitable for wet areas?

I will never forget that m8 running up and down 14 floors with 2 boxes of tiles on my shoulder nearly bloody killed me.:ban: And tiling in the dark looked fantastic until the lights went on:yikes:

i for 1 didn't take that much notice of the design of mosaics but this thread has highlighted and enlightened alot of people so for one mans misfortune brings another mans gain i thank you

Have to say Deano, I picked up on it in the photo's and I'd have done the exact same thing as you, and I applaud a tradesman that knows his stuff.
Glad it all worked out in the end.

people are quick to imagine that a tiler who refuses to do a job arent up to it ,and some would snap up said job in a new york minute,deano makes me feel proud to be a tiler when tradesmen like you are knowledgeable enough to to show a little dignity
and refuse said work.

I recently had some similar mosaics in my hand. One piece came away and was then missing. All I could see was the paper backing when viewing the face of the mosaic sheet......so the hell will they stick to the wall ? The only thing holding them would be the grout ????

Personally I would never criticize any fellow pro without knowing the full story, especially when the pro tiler was a master craftsman like Dean, just my humble opinion.

your're a credit to the tiling industry mate. an outstanding professional tiler who's repected and admired by all of us on here. your experience, quality of workmanship and your integrity as a person can never be questioned imo.

Hi TF ED,i totally agree with you, I am probably one of a few if not the only one(i think) who has worked with dean great guy,we have had some good times back in the day,should of stopped with him and unlce Alan good times.

do it m8 just do it slowly maybe get some work in on the weekends and go from there. m8 you have a talent it is being wasted work is up and down but hopefully more up than down
