Plumber still not called me yet so at 9am this morning i called my cousin and explained the situation. My cousin was absolutely embarrassed by this and called him straight away but he couldnt get to him either, anyway to cut a long story short...he has issues at home and was under pressure according to my cousin. Now i can appreciate this being a family man but at least have the backbone to call.

In addition,i went to grout the floor at the job today and there was a note saying the bath was leaking and she thinks its the overflow.Turned out it was the bath trap he had put on...cheap and nasty one so i replaced it with a McAlpine bathtrap.......now im home for some TLC and the wife is out with the kids.I had better go and get her something for christmas or else. :santa_cheesy:

Call me heartless but these family issues need to be fairly major for him to have sloped off like that.

He's probably used a Flo Plas bath trap. I've used these without a problem until recently. I now use Mc Alpine.

no excuse Brian, should have left his domestic issues at home, not brought them into somebody else's house!

Oh, drats, had hoped for a better day today for you, Brian!

Put your feet up and enjoy Christmas with your family, next year will be better. Definitely.

Was having major problems years ago, Bankruptcy and divorce at the same time and never took it to work. Should have been courtesy to let you know what was going on

Some people handle stuff better than others but I agree, he should have kept you informed.
