[FONT=&quot]Whichever product you use, just make sure you follow manufacturers guidelines, as they all have different maximum recommended weight limits, per square meter of tile and adhesive, that they can take (cause it doesn’t look as nice in the bath as it does on the wall!), the heavier the tiles the more fixing you may require (adhesive, screws/dowels, adhesive and screws/dowels etc), with wedi you have to increase the number of dowels per square metre etc[/FONT]

backer board or moisture resistant plasterboard for me.
ply's a no go imo

Interesting that ive often wondered if MR board is actualy needed as it is being tanked.
