screw it down to floor boards m8, inch screws is perfect as it wont go through pipes under the boards!

Do you lay them in adhesive then 6" nails or just the nails on there own ?6 INCH NAILS OF COURSE....

i use blue-tack then 6 inch nails and seal the joints with sellotape....:lol:

Dave this is ard work do you use any tile adhesive under the boards as i have never used hardiebacker myself because all the board i have used they have been stuck down like this er type

when installing backer boards on a floor make sure the adhesive has 100% coverage( no voids ) and screw down as well..you can get backerboard screws with washers from topps....
