I think the title more or less sums up the requirements of the job. I have tried about 10 tilers from the paper and the Yellow pages.
Lots of people said they would quote - only 2 out of the 10 turned up and only one of them quoted - £30 m2. I asked him for pics and eventually he did send some after he had been on holiday to the far east - and I think not for the girls - so understandably I didn't want him!!
Admittedly I want a quality job and even if £30m2 is the going rate I would like a percentage off that. Will be paying in cash for a pukka job.
From my estimations and calculations it is probably - 4 - 6 laying time and an hour - 2 grouting the next day.
If anyone can get back to me and is willing to quote - and turn up for the quote - and give me a reasonable quote for what - 8 hrs work? Please let me know.
