Just to let you know that at Nichols & Clark they supplied the small black tiles which we used as a contast on the 600 x 300

Here you see the black tiles as a backdrop in the shower (the whole bathroom is in natural stone)

I didnt have to cut up my own tiles because it was lucky N&C sold them
as a sheet of black minitiles in the same material as the big tiles.

Thanks for the photos. It is this sort of look that made me begin wondering what could be done.
At this point I'm thinking to cut some 200 x 50 strips to run up a verticle panel in the shower. I will, of course have to get approval from the creative dept indoors :smilewinkgrin:

Hi mate, good advice above. Just a point on the bevel edge, you can buy a diamond pad in varying grits, that works really well. Better than carbarundum. You can pick these up for about £18.00 from glass cutting suppliers. Good luck:thumbsup:

Diamond hand pads for smoothing the edges of any type of:

- Marble
- Granite
- Porcelain
- Stoneware
- Ceramics

Blue = Medium grit
Red = Fine grit

Can be used wet or dry
 
Hmmmm,I like those diamond hand pads,I haven't seen them before,do you get them at the tile supply store or elsewhere,thanks,Mike

Our stores are different in the colonies,Heck I'm going to come back home for a vacation just to set some tile using Bal addy,I've heard so much about it but can't get it here,But thanks,I think I'll try a glass shop,Mike
