Porcelain Floor Tiles 300x300

Yeah I'd like to think that's a day. Not sure on price I'd stay out of that I don't price for tiling. Obviously.

But I've done a fair few conservatories and I'd say it's a day. I couldn't see many reasons it'd run into two days.

£290 for 8m2 conservatory. ....is that in London?
Would be pricing that at £180 to £200 down here including the adhesive and grout....about half a days work.
So would u charge 180 labour then plus the cost of addy and grout to that !?

H

180 including the adhesive and grout.
Should make 150 out of it for half a days work. .
To be honest, ive tiled a 4m2 floor today, i tiled it by 10, then i had to take plinths and door down to my mrs unit( got a few machines ) cut them down, went back, grouted , put timber back and was finished by 4, i did a few more bits, so i charged a day plus bits, so 8m2 could easiely go into 2 day.
We need to cover outselves

Its a conservatoy floor. ... they tend to be a piece of cake to tile......
And I dont do plinths or doors...😉

I can see both sides here.

It's why it's hard to gauge a price from others sometimes and why quotes can vary so much from tiler to tiler I guess!

There are way too many variables!
I think one thing that makes it difficult is that no two jobs are ever the same.
What Andy considers to be a conservatory job may be nothing at all like the conservatory jobs I'm used to.
Already there's a massive divide riht there!

Allowing 2 days to tile 8m floor isn't right. That is a day's work, probably an easy day. £280. £20 a bag, £15 for grout -£75 that's £210 in the pocket for a day. Jobs a good en. That's what I would charge too.
