i stand to be corrected thoughisn't this only applicable to porcelain as you wouldn't get the stress from the 'L' cut in stone or ceramic?
I can always use sandpaper.......Also be gentile, don't force the grinder through the cut, speed isn't always best. The less pressure you put on a weak juncture the less potential damage you could do. "Don't split it with an axe, cut it with a saw"
