i didnt say i dry fit all floors, just the ones where you are limited for space or something like a samll toilet, small bathroom. i bet i could dry fit a floor and stick it down in the same amount of time it takes you to stick and cut as you go.
 
Usually works out simplier to dry cut in toilets/pedestals, I reckon so anyway.

Once seen a tiler laying a 30m floor he was nearly finished and he hadn't done any cuts at all. Bit of an awkward looking system, it's hateful having to drop back and do cuts.
 
Does anyone else mix up their addy in a small room they're working in like him? I will do when in a large kitchen or conservatory but I daren't get it in the rest of the house when in a small bathroom.
