Still dont see the need for using Paper or Cardboard, to much hassle, and i wouldnt fancy tryin to get a piece of paper 600*300 Just to cut round a pan, you wouldnt get away with asking for paper for pan cuts workin for a company they would laugh at you, dont mean to offend anyone by that, Sometimes setting out the floor with the Pan in mind works ie Half the Pan but only as long as the rest of the cuts in the floor area are ok, but this isnt always the case, you also have the the Sink Pedestal to worry about in some bathrooms so u can work the floor in with the pan but ends up nightmare cut at the pedestal. you need to remember this!! always scribe, there are fast ways to do it!!!!!

I keep an old roll of kitchen lino in the van....it flex's nicely around lavvy pans and the like.....and its nice to cut.

Then just mark up and away ya go

scribing is the only way for a perfect cut....a well cut scribe will look like the pan/pedestal is sat on the tiles

remove the rest from his kitchen floor

Bit late in replying........

As I mentioned.....old vinyl flooring is great for making templates.........You turn up for jobs, and the old stuff is rolled up (If ya lucky) outside......you take it away. asked first of course.

Kept in ya van and cut of as you need🙂
