Profiling porcelain

Hi all, Im doing an external curved cut in some polished porcelain... wont bore you with details but I was wondering what you guys use to finish the extarnal edge to make it a nice edge? I have been using some sand paper whis is gving it a nice finish

Hi I use polisher (FLEX)

on this video guy doing bullnose edge, but i use same mashine for all cuts. If you use just ordinary decorators sand paper, it's not going to last long

Silicon carbide pads will be what you're looking for.

Hermes & Sait are a well known brands and available from most masonry suppliers.

(the ones used in the video above are Hermes).

If it's a process you're going to make a habit of undertaking then you might want to consider a profile tool to actually cut the shape, then use the finer grades of pads to get a polished finish on it.
