query on porcelain

hi everyone just wondered if any one knows what the class AAA represents on porcelain ,does this mean best or worst grade,many thanks in advance ,Dave

I am unsure as to what Class AAA is, as they usually "Grade" Porcelain with a PEI ratings system, numbered 0 - 5. 0 Being light traffic and 5 being for commercial use.

Edit: After alittle more research, the PEI ratings are only for glazed porcelain. What type of porcelain do you have?

there is also the "ansi" scale that measures water absorbption, I'm pretty sure that AAA's fall into the bracket of lower than 0.5% water absorbption, which classes them as impervious
