Hi Everyone,
I've been reading everyones threads as I was about to invest in some Aquadry boards.....:yikes::yikes:
We've got an old house in France & are in the process of stripping out the old bathroom & putting a wetroom in. The bathroom is on the second floor (there are three), but I'm fairly sure it's concrete (the upstairs shower floor was).

I don't want the wetroom enclosure floor level - more of a raised platform - so what kind of equipment do I need? The whole room will be tiled anew with the raised platform tiled with mosaic tiles (I hope).

There is a shower where the new wetroom will be so plumbing shouldn't be too much of a problem - as long as we buy it all in France - caught out last time with UK taps and pipes:mad2::mad2::mad2:

I'm really keen to buy everything I need before I go - advice, please????

Regards,
Nurse58 :16:

We're right down South in Var region, Provence...about 3/4 hr away from St Tropez. Fabulous & hot in the Summer.

I guess the size I'm looking for is about 160 x 110 (ish) - but there's plenty of room.

If you want big then dont go long its a waste go square.

1200 x 1200 wet room tray from Tilux is a good one as it will sit 42mm above the surface or higher if yo build it up.

The new pro4mer we have is a slim wet room former which is 22mm deep and has a shallow trap like the tilux 70 + mm. This former is really strong and could be used again built up on a frame.

As your in France Lafarge do a light block walling system about 50mm thick and 600 x 400 which you could use to build as its really easy to cut for drain etc. Thats what I would use and I am pretty well up on the French systems.

Hope this helps
