after working on site for a whole week now ive certainly known the importance of a radio, without it, nothing gets done :whatchutalkingabout

ive mostly relied on my crappy portable thing that only picks up radio 1 and classic fm :S but other workers have been providing music on their dewalt radios powered by their drill batteries, since i have a makita drill with spare batteries ive bought a makita bmr100 radio, and ill be running it off my drill batteries

just wondered what other use to listen to and whats your radio station of choice?

whoaaa that looks reinforced matey..is that so when you discover its eaten all your batteries you can bounce it of a wall without it breaking:lol::grin: i stole the yellow rubber duck radio out my kids bathroom, its a bit of an embarresing number to be honest which is stashed in my rucksack and to make matters worse it blares out radio 2!!:grin:

i have a digital radio for work. great and loads of stations.
virgin radio for me baby

Never use a radio. Wouldn't hear it if it was on, and no I am not deaf! I just get so wrapped up in what I do, I just don't hear it!

i think till mostly listen to radio 1 as there random talking nonsnse to keep me going but i must admit i do prefer the oldies often heard on radio 2, theres also an extension to plug in my mp3 player if need be, get 2 days worth pf solid radio out of 1 battery, 30 mins to charge, without a radio tho its like erm.. err... meh.

ive got a 30gb creative, old and big but surely enough its capable of providing plenty of music, good to stic to a station that others around will be happy with. tho whne i do domestic i allways haveon m heavy metl music while nobody else is about:yes:

I have the Makita radio too, bought it last year, great piece of kit.
Runs off my 18v 3.0ah drill battery and lasts for 2 days !! ye ha.
I dont like it too loud but its nice and my helper enjoys it.
any station with good music does the job!! lol,
