Dave are you saying that the mapei SLC are not suitable as a finished surface, as a surface to be painted or both?

Diamond Id be on the phone to Mapei, Im sure they will do something to suit as their products span across the entire building industry not just tiling products. That way they can point you in the right direction and you can find out which SLC they will gaurantee. Can you let me know what you go for? Would be interested to know.

id be on the phone to ajax and ask him for a local contractor to come out and machine apply/pump the screed...take all the hassle out of it and just put your bit on top.

Concrete floor planer would be easier than a polisher. It would also open the surface of the concrete so you can get a key with primers and levellers.

Would it take off the adhesive residue back to the concrete floor. Then if the new tenant wants to paint the floor its ready for them.
