Yes, I agree SDS hammer drill gets the job done in no time. I did a job a couple of weeks ago taking up an old tiled kitchen floor. I bought a chisel attachment from Screwfix which cost approx £30 but really did make the job easy.
As other members have said though, watch out for flying bits of tile!!
