removing tile spacers

dont put spacers in + like at the junction of 4 corners ....use em as pegs ...and re-use them.....Gaz

yes when tiles are light enough not to slide,he spacers helps it stay put for a while then pull out and use further over....Gaz

I never leave spacers in. Always use them as pegs, reason being that tiles generally are not exactly square, I would also say that spacers are not "exactly" the same size on each leg either. This gives the chance that tolerances can be all over the place. Use spacers as a "guide" only and adjust by eye if necessary.
