Hi all
I do plumbing generally and am now doing bathroom renos.I bought a Fein Multimaster this week and was wondering if this is of any use to remove tiles off of a wall, I know it has a grout removing blade.Any hints/tips greatly welcomed. Many Thanks

I agree with Sean - Unless your prepared to invest a good amount of money in specialised tiling tools and learn the skills needed it probably best to sub contract to a professional tiler. The very fact that you have asked the question about Fein Multimaster to remove wall tiles tells every one that you need to have a think.
To answer the question - No its not up to the job - use a 4kg 3 function hammer only Drill with a 100mm stepped tile removal blade and watch them pop off in seconds - Plasterboard as well if you like !

Hi helpsy, you just need a cold chisel, hammer and goggles/gloves/face mask. Sometimes not even that.
Make sure you cover/protect everwhere with a drop cloth and cardboard.
A gorilla bucket is a must. Use this directly under tiles where you can.

:welcome: to the forum.

if the tiles are on plasterboard, I usually remove tiles around a perimeter and then cut out a panel with a stanley knife and pull the plasterboard off.

I suggest you restrict yourself to the tile strip and call in a pro tiler.

I have read too many threads with upset customers. Don't share your burden and stick with what you know, unless it's DIY.

Bit harsh, just because he is asking about one tool doesnt mean he cant tile.

Welocme to the forum by the way :hurray:

The Fein Multimaster is a fantastic tool and it has got an attachment for removing tiles also one for removing the adhesive but it is not quick.
