Bit harsh, just because he is asking about one tool doesnt mean he cant tile.

Welocme to the forum by the way :hurray:
Thanks mate.
I was asking the question as its a new tool I've got and I know they also do a tilers version, I got the standard 230v top Q model(250w).I have done about 4 tiling jobs in bathrooms and everybody has been impressed with the work(I'm not quick, but as long as it's a nice job the speed will pick up).
I am just after finding out ways of making the job(with me doing it)quicker/easier if this tool helps, thats all.
I also bought a magnusson heavy duty 600mm tile cutter it looks the business(although I am a plumber so what do I know),(I don't know if this cutter is ok).I don't want to be a tiler full time, I just want to be able to do all the job without having to get someone else in who is a no show or lets you down last minute.

Excuse me helpsy. Can't get some of these recent bad tiling jobs out of my head.

If you are on here you must care about what you do..... Welcome.

I agree. :welcome: helpsy, use this site as much as you can. Its a fountain of knowlage .
Cheers lcjohno
I am a member of the sister forum (ukplumbersforums) and give advice daily and receive advice daily and it is brilliant, thats why I joined this one also for help/advice, as I have said I'm not a tiler but keen to learn and willing to listen to ALL comments.

stick around helpsy mate, we value your impute, you might get a few pluming Q on here to

I dont have a fein but have heard loads of good reports about them. If i actually pcik one up an play with it, ill buy one cos im a sucker for tools! I have too many already and that why i have resusted actually going to look at one!

As for removing th etiles, i use either hammer and chisel or SDS with 50mm flat chisel bit. There are cranked tile removing chisels araound but IMO they put too much strain on the chuck for my liking.

Thanks everyone and if I can help out with any plumbing questions I'd be glad to and if I don't know the answer I will try to find out for you.
