evening lads, ref knocking off tiles. if the damage to to the plaster isnt large scale does anyone use raidset to fill out?? no waiting for weeks. just an idea, heard this some where before.

Yes, I think it is a common practise. Obviously within limits!

Yes it can be done, but the B.S is obvioulsy to bond it out or do a patch and repair 😉
 
I've used a bosch hammer drill with a chisel in it, whips the tiles off really quick. Bit like a hammer & bolster but heaps quicker.
 
Same here, hammer option on drill with chisel end. Its the dogs. Really quick Just have to watch plasterboard walls.:8:
 
I take it you guys are refering to an SDS drill with a chisel action rather than a normal rotory hammer drill...?

Yeah make sure you take the drill off rotery hammer mode. The drill needs to have a rotery stop function on the hammer action. Works like a mini breaker, but nice & light to hold. I borrowed a Bosch one off the sparky on a job(not sure what model it was but he'd got it for around £160 & it was fantastic. Will defo be investing in one as soon as i get a tile removing job.
