well it was the coldest weekend of camping I've ever done, but at least the racing entertainment was good

twas very cold in the stands John. when you're sitting up high, motionless, it got quite chilly. but when you're down on the ground moving around, you were warm. but the temps overnight dropped to around 6C :yikes:

put one tent up inside the other, like a thermos flask!

as who Mike? not a chance I'd share a sleeping bag with my husband. he'd sweat in arctic conditions. I'd rather be dry but cold instead of hot and disgustingly sweaty. my bag is my bag and that's as far as it goes.

next time I go end of season camping, I'm taking a hot water bottle :yesnod: and thermals
