residue left after sealing polished porcelin

I had a prob with this tile, in the end I used my orbital sander with light grey scotch brite pads, came off a treat, just try a little bit at first and see how you go, ok mate,

I've had this problem with LTP stuff before. On the tin it said to add some more and buff off straight away but that didn't help.
All came off after cleaning up the grout haze though.

Am I wrong in thinking that if the sealer is sitting on top of the tile and so much needs removing then maybe despite what b&q say they don't need sealing as they arn't pourus ?

They are not that porous.. but it is the polishing process that opens micro pores and these are what grabs stains etc.. so sealing aids in the maintenance/cleaning of these tiles.

When sealing polished surfaces with an impregnating sealer it is always best to use the minimal amount possible. Buffing/rebuffing/re-rebuffing will never clear the marks away. The best way to treat high dense tiles is to lay a film of sealer on with a cloth, buff after 15 minutes or so, and leave to stand for a few hours. This still leaves the wipe marks, but using a light cleaner such as L.T.P's Grimex (not any abrasive acidic strippers) with a low concentrate (1:5) to clear the marks, re-wiping with a wet cloth.
