I had always used WD40 for years until when I contacted Pat at Rubi about my TS40+ cutting off square they blamed the use of WD40, saying that tile dust and chippings sticks to WD40 and causes problems with the rails:mad2:
I still haven't got arond to getting the Rubi Maintence kit like......:dizzy2:

That would be down to eaten rubber making the arm move around, the tile dust then sticks to the WD which in turn scratches the rails which means you use more WD to ease it up and so the cycle begins:mad2:

Thinking about doesn't Tradetiler do Rubi replacement parts? does he do rails and arms?
 
😳better throw my WD away, thats the 2nd. thing I've learned tonight:thumbsup:
 
wd40 is a penatrating oil mainly for freeing rusted parts but as said it would atract dust i would go with Silicon spray :thumbsup:
