So why can't we find out why Dave's blade shattered? it seems like a perfectly normal question for this type of thread , and I'd love to know the answer (wouldn't want to lose an eye) !

I had a Sigma wheel buckle on me while cutting, No idea why and I wasnt putting it under any real stress apart from the normal...IIRC it was only cutting a ceramic tile too.....Just clarifying that these things do happen...Rubi, Sigma, Marcrist, Montolit etc etc

Not buckle neale , they shattered and shards flying off.

Best leave it anyway as I will never get the reason , even though I know why , just wanted them to admit it.

So to stop whining members twisting about rubi v sigma banter , I shall bow out of said banter to keep the twisty gits happy.

I would hate to think what would have happened next but anyway its in the bin now . I have quite a while back had a Marcrist wheel shatter and also a few other wheels crack........It pays to inspect the wheel from time to time, It only takes a few seconds.

The last one that shattered , a big piece flew off and hit my leg.. very close to the jewels :lol:
