Rubi tx 700

My tx 700 has been great but on certain porcelain tiles, mainly the high gloss tiles, it won't cut/ split anything under 70/100 mm with out splitting the cut 3/4 of way down the length,
Can it be ,need new cutting wheel, even though it's two jobs old
Or is that how it is and just wet cut or grinder it ????

Cant really coment as I dont use Rubi. Sometimes its just the tile and nothing will cut it everytime. Wet cut would be best.

Have you tried scoring the tile twice? Also, with some hard porcelains, the breaking technique is important, a sharp jab on the end of the bar usually sorts it. I've had my tx700 for almost 3 years now and have only come across one tile that it wouldn't cut cleanly. A sigma I briefly owned wouldn't cut it either.

2nd that always use the 8mm wheel on porcelain score twice the only tile I could not cut was the yorkstone modular
