Spot On2mm peg on it's sideOn a worktop just turn your spacers on the side (laying flat on the work top) and rest the tile edge on top, this normally gives you about 2.5mm

3mm is a lot better that the original you had planned, good luck with it, post pics when you finishedso i was pretty much right by saying 3 mm , sounds good , thanks

Is it possable that you could pack the cill out with plasterboard to make it higher , giving you a larger cut for your next tile
i have a brilliant solution, just set the new worktops that little bit higher to make up the difference(if possible)
