How do these people get away with it.

I've just heard via a customer of mine who recommended me to their friends to do a bathroom. I couldn't fit it in when they wanted, while away on holiday, so i didn't get the job. They got someone in who could start straightaway and guess what. The floor is lifting and cracking already after 3 months (tiles directly onto chipboard) and the walls leave a lot to be desired apparently.

If they'd have have waited 6 weeks I could have done it, now it's more than likely going to have to be ripped out. Can they get hold of the tiler now. Can they hell!!!!

That's worse than most of the cowboys I quote against - at least they're cheap and do a crap job so more fool the customers.
But to charge proper rates and turn out junk like that is a mickey take to proper tilers and customers alike.

But, very difficult to be sympathetic. I copied this line of text from a post on the first page: REMOVED and pasted it into google. Found them on the first page. There website says absolutely nothing about tiling. They're heating engineers.

Customers think that all these websites are ligit like rated people, my hammer etc It's a what a con. It's scary that people like this are getting away with it. I'd love to see the instal pictures of the bathrooms they have posted up!

Guys will you please stop bringing the company name up due to naming and shaming and can end up with loads of grief.......I can understand how you feel but it may cause all kinds of problems.

At the moment there is going to be a cull on badger's ,cant we swap that and have a cull on bad so called tiler's that use anything but the proper adhesive,lol:lol:
