"depends on what your quote was for if you talk to client you may be able to agree on a solution :8:"
Sounds sensible. I guess I should have spotted that there would be a depth difference -if i had i would have talked over the possible consequences there and then.

"Funny I done job thru xmas on some very light tiles, the grout looked a very light grey."
I think it would have been ok but I used the mapei white Silicon which is extremely white against the Mapei grout. I might be inclined to go for a darker silincone next time.

just a tip when fitting covers in shower area (taps mixers ect) i always seal between tiles and fixtures to prevent water entering wall cavity never seal covers in place as they can still let water in :8:

Is it a bar type mixer?

If it is wind the swivel elbows out the wall plaste elbows, Either use locktite and fit loosly for gain a few extra mm or fit a 15mmx1/2 female iron to female copper and use these to extend, Or you can grind down the chrome covers a little with a flap disc

Thanks for the suggestion however the mixer is round with an oval plate that fits over it.

Its a Ibox then.....Basically your knackered!

The box is set into the wall and has a rotating ring for depth setting, Once fixed and tiled in you cant adjust

Shaft extensions are available from Hamsgrohe but the ibox still has to come out

when you say the ibox has to come out, are you talking about the mechanism which you would find behind the chipboard ( in this case )?
