I'm glad to say my work is picking up again thankfully.
Phone starting to ring more too so today i took a call from my builder.
He want's me to tile a full house for him asap and was trying to source cheap tiles :yikes:.
Nothing new there in this climate.
He asked me about topps tiles, he was looking at a 300x300 ceramic floor tile at around 6 quid a m2.
Over 70m2 of these to lay if he buys.
No tile shop i deal with can sell for this low especially as builders are a pain to get money out of,lol.
What do you's think of these topps type of tiles?
The house will for letting so cheap cheap cheap,lol.
Big house too and it will be sad to tile it with cheap tiles although if he pays me right i'll do diamond patterns etc maybe.
He'll be in b+q yet.

If their selling at £6 m2 how much did they get them for, cheap and nasty.

there crap, but works work and you cant afford to turn it down, glad to see your picking up, im still dead here.

They are a bit cheap and nasty, but fitted to a high standard they don't look too bad. Use at least a 5mm spacer though cos the sizing is a bit hit and miss. They're no worse than shed tiles.

I have to get a 23m2 floor, a 6m2 shower and a 28m2 floor done before i get to that house but i wonder if the tiles will be there first,lol.
Hope you pick up quick Andy, i only worked 2 days last week and now i'm on 4 this week.
Hard to know what the future holds.

3 days last week, 2 days this week, 3 days next week.........i allways said in another ten years i would like to cut down my work and go part time, now i know what its like.......bloody boring !!!!
