Silicon type grout????

Just back off my hols, talking to a fellow tiler out there. Typical cockney bloke 'awlrite geeeza' n all that.
Anyway, apart from constanly bragging about how much he was making and the size of his 'workload', he did go on about this Silicon type grout. Now we all have to keep up to date with out new products, and we all know more crap hits the market than good, but I've never heard of this before if it is good, I have heard of a grout you can apply with a Silicon gun, but not what I'd have thought a pro would use all the time. Now to me seems a bit of a long arsy way of doing something easier.
He did say it was amazing stuff! But he was a crazy cockney and everything was exagerated.
ANyone point me in the right direction to what this is, a link or something? New to the market apparently.:shades_smile:

It was quite an experience meeting this guy, he was about to start exagerating his 5 year museum contract and 7 shops until I thought I'd best let him know I was in the trade and would probably know what he was on about, so not to make a **** of himself. Silicon grout is actually used in spas and pools..have found a link for you to have a look at......i have siliconed grouted joints in a shower before..just tooled in with soapy water and sponge..hard work but is effective against water penetration....dave...

what i find more amazing than Silicon grout is the fact you were talking about tiling on holiday when they must be lots of topless women to look at and cheap alcohol to drink
