Simple way to mitre a tile..................Mitre Wiz

do it 2mm from the edge and finish it with polisher, with wet saw i go 1mm from the edge (no chips) . most of my bathrooms with mitred corners, have done U and E shape around recess, no problem

I agree the Mitre Wizz is probably not for everyone. It's more of a tool for the tiling professional than the competent DIY'er... :lol:

You have no idea how incredibly difficult it is to write posts without swearing. It's very, very hard. Harder in fact that mitring 20mm granite without a Mitre Wizz.

There is such a cultural difference. If you listened to Swedish radio, in the morning, or any time during the day, you would hear the presenters chatting away and all of a sudden would be "F you" or "what the F are you talking about", in English, then a bit more swearing in Swedish, and absolutely nobody bats an eyelid. It's just part of language and communication to us. I think the English are still suffering from the psychotic repression of Queen Victoria's despotic reign of hypocrisy and need to lighten up a bit :lol:
