Site work us fine, you get good and bad , same as residential. Site work is essentially factory work / production line . But the pay is better ( generally ), all down to speed though and how much you want to earn. Most sites let you stay late anyway if you want finish off a particular plot.
My biggest tip is to do work correctly ( and slower )first time , then you wont have to go back to it.
Take me for instance (due to circumstances ) i'm happy doing 10m a day , anymore is a bonus.Ok Im slower, But, since working this lazt year for my new contractor , ive not once had to go back to anything.
One of his other guys (quicker than me) last week spent 2 days for nothing , putting right his flooring. So in fact I earnt more.
Oh and save a couple of bucket lids and take ur own water its sooooooo much easier to have it on ur van in the morning.
