Slc, What's Your Preferred Brand?

Just looking in to what everybody likes in the way of SLC for a standard concrete/screeded solid floor (no UFH) we have been using the sealocrete stuff from Selco, it's not bad but it's certainly not great - just what you could expect for about 12 quid a bag I suppose.

Is there much difference in going up a grade to say Mapei Ultraplan renovation at about £18?

And worth any increase in price, which in fact is not much!

like the ultra from tops ...not bad gear ..best ive used is balls green bag with f70 latex ...bit dear but is lovely to use goes off dead quick also

Weber do a quick set latex that sets in 60 minutes @Dave was gonna try it today but it's £25 a bag and I hadn't budgeted fir it in my price.

I can't remember the name of it but think it was a grey bag, but yeah the lads said it was £25 a bag. So went with my usual floor flex
