OK update on this thread. Well today is the day. At the time of writing its 7am and the bailiffs will be here at 11.30am.

I spent last night disconnecting the gas, electric and water for them. Honestly what a way to go!

Changing the subject slightly but keeping on theme "are you slowing down yet" My mate Denise has been made redundant which was a shock as she had what we thought a solid job as a buyer for a garden centre.

And another shock. Last night I got an email from an exhibition to cancel the whole event. And I have NEVER heard of that before. Things are much grimmer out there than we know about.

Dear Exibitor

Following many hours of discussion it is with regret that we have had to
take the decision to cancel the above show. It is felt that in the current
economic climate this is the right decision and we will review it again
possibly in 2010 or when the situation begins to improve again.

I hope you can understand that this decision has not been taken lightly,
but in order for us to deliver the highest possible standards to our
exhibitors and indeed the visitors we cannot see any alternative at this
time.

Please accept this email as formal cancellation, any deposits paid will of
course be refunded and we would still like to offer all our exhibitors an
entry in our Trade Directory on the Website.

Thank you for your interest in partipating in the show and hope we an work
together again in the future.

Kind Regards
