I knew that mate:thumbsup:, what I’m getting at is that I don't think our police can keep emotions in control (bit like this guy). If you're trusted with a gun you should be able to control yourself. The armed police in the UK currently do that but if it got rolled out to all serving officers I just wouldn't trust them. I've seen too many coppers lose it. It's a hard job for sure but you have to keep yourself in check, In Brighton's city centre where they are expecting trouble and the adrenaline is running high I've seen coppers grab someone and pull them in four different directions whilst screaming at them to stop struggling these people aren't struggling it's the fact each copper has an arm and a leg pulling them all over the place!

We had the same problem in Northern Ireland in the 70's, there was strict rules of engagement and curcumstances when you could fire your weapon.

If you got it wrong you get a prison sentence and that included the RUC/police who may killed someone under extreme conditions but got it wrong.

It's a difficult position to be in when your under such pressure and rules have to be applied but mistakes happen.
