Thats the states Rob, a mate was telling me in some states they can shoot someone for walking on there land

That is a bit oversimplified. Some states allow for use of deadly force on what is known as "curtilage", which can include your property outside of your house, and then only under certain circumstances. It should definately NOT be construed as anyone having the right to use deadly force just because someone has walked across your yard.

Well I got home ok, worst part of the journey was 20 mins from home up the A19, then into Stockton itself, pretty bad, not as bad as pjc though. I've just been watching it on the news, pleased to hear your ok mate
