Started my first granite job yesterday and "touch wood" it is going dam well.
Bit of a pain in the arse setting out as there is a big pole in the middle of the room but managed to sort it. Also a slight rise in the floor around the area of the pole (even when boarded out) so started from that area as it is the highest point.

Tiles are 600 x 600 and vary in depth, ranging from 21mm - 26mm

Comments very welcome

She has over a hundred of these tiles, delivered on pallets in her front garden, can hardly straighten my right arm through carrying them through the house one at a time 🙂

Gonna try and blag her for some for my house when i finish the job, will have well over half left over.

Nice one mat.....just out of interest what is that pole off.?..

Half the room is an extension mate, although she has had an RSJ installed the builders told her she needed the support pole, no way a building inspector would pass that. Reckon she has had someone like her husband do the extension and not applied for planning permission myself.
