I do all the work myself...but suffice to say i'm not even going to quote...i've been there done that...it will be a pain from the start...i always allow minimum 5 days to do a small bathroom and he has already shown his colours in his budget....re-use and the days allowed..50 miles round trip to assess.thats £10 in diesel down the drain.

By putting in a very decent price to make it worth doing. No of days he says is irrelevant just price it on what you think it will take. And to finish off some jokers effort - no way!

quote as if you were fitting all new sanitary ware, re-using old will take longer. and no guarantees, he can always try elseware if he doesn't like the price, you are worth per day what you think you are worth, ( experience, equipment etc.taken into account) not what someone thinks he will pay you per day.

Sounds like this customer would also want you to clean out the gunge and slime from the shower/bath/basin traps too. Stay well away, they are going to be trouble - guaranteed. And you wont get any tea and biscuits from them.
