so what does everyone do as a hobby

Fly Model Helis, windsurfing, ride a Kawasaki ZX12R when the weather suits, used to race minimoto's (not the cheap £100 ones but paid £2000 for mine) and now photography

But now my hobby seems to be tiling the new wetroom 😀

I'm going to take up a hobby. Well, actually, it's going to be volunteering. As I've got older I've really got into local history, especially about the steam trains, old local railway lines and so on. Anyway, a local group of volunteers have purchased a piece of track (and the land it sits on) from Stoke-on-Trent to Oakamoor in the Staffordshire Moorlands and are spending the next 3 years restoring the line and getting trains up and down it. I'm hoping to volunteer and be involved in the work. It would be nice to be involved in something as worthwhile as that. Eventually the plan is to open the line right over to Alton Towers :hurray:

Watching my Son play golf, he's getting rather good at it now, carp fishing and driving some of our old motors about.
