I considered attempting to profile the edges before grouting, then thought better of it! The dust may well have got me in a bit of bother with the in house cleaner!

I think mattstone enhances the colour enough, there is a lot of colour in the slate already, some colour enhancers can make the stone look a bit artificial IMO.
