Spacers or no spacers?

Looks like a nice bathroom Chalker:thumbsup:

Do have a few questions though😳

With the shower glass butted up to the bath like that, how was it siliconed? Namely where the bath edge meets the glass. Of course it's easy to Silicon the joint but bath edges are very rarely 100% straight and as such any Silicon pumped in would create a jagged line of Silicon viewable from the inside of the shower enclosure. Secondly the tiled bath panel is stepped back slightly from the bath edge (maybe 3-4mm) and so again how was that gap filled between the tiles and shower screen? or maybe it wasnt?

I had the glass sandblasted on the outside where it is against the bath. For the step to t the glass I cut a 5mm strip of tile and ground two grooves to match to grout lines, this was then stuck to the tiles with two part resin. As for sealing, I put a very small bead of clear onto the bath edge and the edge of the spacer tile then fitted the screen and put some gentle pressure on the glass to make sure the gap was filled, but the Silicon didn't squash. After that dried I sealed properly using a fugi tool.
